The Vacutainer Anaerobic Specimen Collector is particularly suited for instances where volumes are small or dilution of specimens by a transport medium is to be avoided
The sterile collector is packaged in a peel-apart envelope designed for use in the OR
The device offers a built-in oxygen- elimination system that’s activated by depressing the plunger and a reliable colorchange indicator to ensure that anaerobiosis has been achieved. Plus, the medium-free environment keeps the specimen moist while allowing direct, fast and easy plating in the laboratory
Gas-impermeable barrier assures anaerobic atmosphere is maintained
